Managing simultaneous translation for a major aviation conference in France was the latest high-level project for Luciana Scrofani Green, founder of One Stop Language Solutions (OSLS).
Luciana’s long experience working as an English <> Italian interpreter – for politicians, businesses, economists and even the Pope – has given her the skills to manage translations for demanding projects such as the one-day HFW European Aviation Conference, which took place in Paris last month.
“This is the second year I’ve worked with the conference organisers” explains Luciana (pictured left), who saved the organisers costs by managing the project remotely.
“Once again they needed English <> French interpreters and through my network I was able to locate two Paris-based linguists.”
“Last year we used a portable tour guide-type system but this year we upgraded and installed a proper simultaneous translation booth, which worked much more effectively for both listening delegates and interpreters.”
